Blanket

I'm thinking of trying to make all my Illustration Friday posts feature this little lady - though you can't tell whether it's her in this illustration - and I hope she doesn't have to sleep out on the street.... I prefer to think that she's out camping under the stars here. My sister has named her Rhonda.

This piece is so touching! It's beautifully rendered and it speaks to our times! Thank you for sharing this, it would be a great image for an editorial piece!

Nicely done. Mine had a similar concept, I like the drawing style of yours, and the watercolor's effect.

Beautiful colors and the overall feeling is very sweet and soothing. Very nice to be sleeping under the stars in a warm blanket. :-)

When I saw your sketch, I just knew you were from South Africa! Must have been the type of blanket. :) Beautiful illustration, truly South African.

Thanks for all your comments - that's amazing, Angelika that you recognised the source.. I thought it was a fairly common sort of international blanket!

it's beautiful. And I love the way you did the blanket.

This one is so sweet... I think that if you'll make a postcard of it, it would sell.
